iCloud sync will be discontinued in Notewise iOS

We’re moving all cloud sync to Notewise Cloud so we can offer a simpler, faster, and more unified experience — including real-time collaboration, cross-platform sync, and AI-powered features.

As part of this transition, only the iCloud sync feature will be discontinued on January 1, 2026.

Notewise Unlimited is not being discontinued. You can continue purchasing and using Notewise Unlimited as a one-time purchase if you prefer not to subscribe.

🔄 What’s Changing?

Until January 1, 2026

• Your notes will continue syncing with iCloud.
• You can keep using Notewise normally.
• You can export your notes anytime for backup.

After January 1, 2026

• iCloud sync will no longer be supported.
• Notes already on your device will remain safe — nothing will be deleted.
• You can still open, view, and edit all your local notes in Notewise.

🌐 If Notewise Cloud Is Available in Your Region

To keep cloud sync after iCloud sync ends, we recommend switching to Notewise Cloud, which provides the best experience across devices.

If you own Notewise Unlimited, you’re eligible for a free 3-month Notewise Cloud Starter plan (10 GB notes, AI features, sync across iOS/Android/Web).

To redeem:

1. Find your Notewise Unlimited App Store purchase receipt (emailed to you by Apple).
2. Create a Notewise Cloud account in the app by signing in with your preferred login method.
   You do not need to start a subscription to create an account.
3. Email both of the following to support@notewise.dev:
   • A screenshot of your App Store purchase receipt
   • The email address associated with your Notewise Cloud account
4. Our team will manually apply the free 3-month Starter plan to your Notewise Cloud account.

Note: This does not change your Notewise Unlimited one-time purchase — you keep all local features permanently.
You can always access Notewise Unlimited features when signed out of your Notewise Cloud account.

🌍 If Notewise Cloud Is Not Available in Your Region

If Notewise Cloud is not currently supported where you live
(for example, it is currently unavailable in Mainland China):

• Your notes will continue syncing with iCloud until January 1, 2026.
• After that date, iCloud sync will stop.
• Your existing notes on your device will remain safe and accessible.
• With Notewise Unlimited, you can continue creating unlimited local notes.
• You can export notes any time for backup.
